can anyone help i have a few ni-mh race packs and had bought a eagle racing 1Amp dicharger (Active Mate 2) for ni-mh packs but noticed it says on the front that it discharges to 0volts, will this damage the cells or is it ok, im new to discharging and never done it before as always used nicads.

ive seen in many mags and on the suggested charger instructions that you should discharge to 5.4v but ive got an integy zero discharge board which dicharges them down to 0.0v and then cuts off,i only do this to race batteries a few days before i race ive found it increases voltage and duration, but if your using it for general dischargeing then i would watch out as if you leave them discharged for too long it can knacker the cells.
