i agree with Some (read: 2 or 3) land rovers, i dont mind which, but a modern 3 speed/XC based things would be good, L200 warriors, RAV4, New toyota hilux and a discovery/defender perhaps? all with abs bodies of course!

I really liek teh sound of Lotus sunbeams, escort mk2's and maybe the datsun violet (like the look) on a RWD chassis (m04 chassis?)

its snowing again so i'm off out with the touareg, took it out last night and had fun on the sheet ice [:D][:D][:D]

I'm with Spikey - a landrover just like mine would be ideal, in a three-speed type chassis or lockable diffs would be good!

A 917 would be so cool especially on a F201 chassis and an Audi R8 LeMans car from 2002, not the R8R that tamiya did, especially since the R8 Audis are the most successful Lemans and GT car to date. Some more real life cars would be cool, Renault Megane RS 225, Renault Clio RS 182, Jaguar XKR. Just a few to add to the list.

Thanks

especially some more french cars, I would like the xsara kit car (old model), they look much beter than the new one and some road cars like the saxo 16v etc. and to go japanese...the lancer evo 8 should be made too, and I would prefer the road version [:)]

None of the below in cheap Lexan please! Hard body only and full driver figures!

For starters, Tamiiya should make:

1:16 scale Military R/C:

U.S. WWII Ford Jeep

U.S. WWII USA Half Track Vehicle

U.S. WWII Dodge PowerWagon

U.S. M1A1/M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank

U.S. M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle

U.S. Stryker ICV (8 wheel drive Infantry Carrier Vehicle)

1:12 R/C Car

80's Ford RS Capri Rally Car on the 959 chassis

Zamboni machine

1:10 R/C Car

Late 60's/Early 70's Ford Capri (The one made in Cologne, Germany) on TA03R chassis.

1957 Ford Thunderbird - Racing Master #8

Three speed truck with 2005 Ford F350 body and dually rears - Bruiser Chassis.

Delorean with functioning gull wing doors and stainless steel body.

Genuine Tamiya snowplow Hop up accessory for 3 speed-Trucks.

Aluminum 'A' arms for Grasshopper

Hex shafts for Frog/Wild One/FAV/Blackfoot that last more than 5 runs :)

Aluminum 'F' parts for Porsche 959

1:14 R/C Truck

A Car Hauler Trailer

A Fire Engine with working water cannon and ladder.

Tow Truck

Cement Truck

And I love the Amphicar idea mentioned earlier...only Tamiya could pull it off.

This is great, all of you have top ideas. synchochc: the idea of a Lancia Stratos is ace. aceprc: Sierra Saphire Cosworth (being a Ford fan myself we need someone to make one) As for the Land rover( I think kamtecmodels on ebay makes them now.) stulec52: AC Cobra (Kyosho made them in The Nostalgic Series) The Zakspeed can by found on the bay (it's not the best detailed shell, but it's still good all the same. I know as I had one: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...27160&sid=2731). Now alot of people are into the Mk1 and Mk2 Esrot (sorry (Escort, me bad:) you are all good people. Here's my Mardave 1/8 nitro: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...=23941&sid=2731. volksrod68: Karmann Ghia..... Now I would love a kit or a real one of these or a Mk 1 Porsche would do... I don't have much to offer other than a big smile in return. The offer is open:) lunchbox, zeemax and jimbo you all hit on the spot with the hardly seen Metro in two of its forms, both would be good kits. And lunchbox by now I would guess you have seen the RS500 made by Kyosho: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...d=20816&id=2731. As for the Series 1 yourself and sonic say, big needed in the collection, and it would be nice to be able to make a copy of my series 2. Jimbo and flyby do you both mean the super 7? Because ABC made a very good kit. I will post the pics of the chassis at some point of my one. When you see it you will want one: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...=26817&sid=2731.

I think Tamiya would do well getting ideas from modelers like ourselves. Maybe it would be a good idea to open up this discussion to more of t.c's membership. I myself don't normally look at the forums and spend most of my time looking on the home page or through members collections, movies, trades and favs. Is there a way we could get some voting going on, to find out what we all want out of our cars. Then when we have got our top cars we put them forward to Tamiya, just to see what they think. If they are not interested then maybe we could get together and put some money in to get what we want made. It's just a idea. There are many cars that I would like that I have not seen made to fit R/C cars, and I think we all know of some.

id="quote">id="quote">the bx sport was a nice looker it just didn't have the 160bhp of the 16v which was awesome for 1987 and when the car weighed little more than pug 205.

as for the raise and lower suspension on a citroen rc, i spose you could have the four shock mounts fixed to chassis in some sort of slider guides which have toothed runners on inside that could be operated by an extra servo connected by push/pull rods!!

just an crazy thought lol

16V is proper quick though, I've been in the passenger seat of one being Driven hard! As for cars I'd like to see, a Land Rover Defender would rock on a modern version of a 3 speed chassis. An Audi Quattro S1 on TA-04SS would be pretty cool as would the Citroen C4 Rally car. A Pagani Zonda S or the new F would be a nice addition as would a couple of other small modern cars on M chassis.

Tamiya never went into the 2-wheel desaster in the 80ies like Kyosho.

If so, these would be the holy grale now.

Kyosho does not fetch so high prices than Tamiya, but the Gokart (cart) and the Yamaha YZ-250 both gas powered are the ones to collect.

Tamiya would have made a bike as realistic as the 3-speed and that would have been amazing.

I would say something like a escort cosworth with the mental spoiler at the back or some XC type car like a land rover or a Toyota land criuser.

I wouldnt mind a hummer H2.

howz about a 1953 ford f-100 lowrider [8D]

oh wait, tamiya allready did it, but they seem to have only made about 3 kits [xx(] please tamiya - remake the low ride pumpkin! [:P]

i'd also like to see a nice new realistlic monster truck, maybe based on a current dodge, ford or chevey truck - abs body of corse [:P], and plonked onto the txt-1 chassis. surely tamiya could do that one! and call it txt-2 [:)]

and what about a full radio control 1/10 scale johnny 5 robot [:P]

Why are only half of the cars in your list Stu Fords? icon_smile_big.gif

Would like hard bodied old realistic Baja Buggys and any kind of hard bodied Jeep or Pickup, mounted on a XC-chassis or its successor, witha 3 speed tranny from a 1:14 truck with 2 output shafts icon_smile_wink.gif

Cheers

Just thought id say that i guess you got your wish theo [:)

IVE ENJOYED READING ALL OF THE SUGGESTIONS ON THIS FORUM, I THINK THE MK2 ESCORT AND THE 3 DOOR SIERRA COSWORTH SOUND THE BEST BUT ARENT WE ALL FORGETTING THE BEST CAR EVER BUILT??!! THE FORD RS 200 RALLY CAR!! TAMIYA COULD PUT THIS BODYSHELL ON A BANG UP TO DATE VERSION OF THE 1/12 CELICA GRB CHASSIS, AND THE SHELL COULD INCLUDE THE INTERIOR DETAIL LIKE THE ENGINE BAY AND THE COCKPIT, THIS CAR WOULD BE A KILLER AND REALLY LOOK THE PART (WITH WORKING HEADLAMPS AND SPOTLAMPS!) SO COME ON MR TAMIYA, HEAR ME NOW!!
