I'm a little limited to what I would like to collect due to space/money/wife! (bless her) but am mostly interested in cars I like the look of, and what I liked when I was younger.

Mainly the odd buggy, Monster truck, and Rally / GT

On my wish list:

Avante

Blackfoot / Lunchbox

More Rally

XC

I collect what I find in my travels, half the fun for me is finding something in pieces at a boot sale (or even off ebay) and fixing it up. There are cars I drool after more then others, such as a 3 speed or a scorcher, but i`m in no hurry as I have plenty of projects.

I sell cars on to fund the hobby; I`ll list what I currently have - all of these cars are ultimately for sale but some of them will require stupid offers to get me to part with them!

Tamiya:

Lancia Rally. Runner, painted black by previous owner. always loved the look of these, especially with the working headlights.

Subaru Brat. Runner, very tidy chassis. has complete new body set with decals which is waiting to be assembled and painted.

Cheetah. I have two of these to restore. 25 or so years ago my dad bought one (he was an RC plane buff), i thought it was awesome as an 8 year old; this was my introduction to RC cars.

XR311. I have 4 original ones to restore to runners, 1 of which has a box and is in very nice condition.

Baja Champ. I have one of these NIB. don`t know if I will build it, i suspect not

MX-5 Eunos. I have the recent one of these NIB, which I`m looking forward to build as it is a replica of my current real life wheels (yes I drive an MX-5 and no I`m not a woman or a gay hairdresser).

Blackfoot. I have a chassis, with no body. dunno what i`ll do with this.

Kyosho:

RS 200. this is a cool old 4WD nitro car which i can`t wait to drive around the garden.

Sandmaster. I have two of these, one is the stadium truck and the other is a 2WD monster truck on a sandmaster chassis. these are fun to rag around, but neither has a shell :/

Ford Focus. I think it`s on a pure 10 chassis, 4wd shaft driven nitro car that I haven`t taken out for a spin yet.

Traxxas:

er ... a 60 4wd mph nitro car with 2 speed gearbox (forget the model name). loads of fun, but i need to find a bigger car park before i run this again.

E-MAXX. awesome monster truck, twin motor, twin battery, 2 speed gearbox and 3 channel radio. so clean and easy (unlike nitro), fast and heavy. superb fun.

Other:

Royal crusher. a 2WD 4WS 1/10 monster truck from the royal company, dating back to the time of the very first few trucks. not the highest quality model kit, but i`ve got this running and it is lots of fun. a bit more work and it would go quite quick i think- and it dwarfs a blackfoot and i`m pretty sure predates a clod so I reckon this was the biggest truck of it`s time.

Mardave: several ministocks in pieces

Well, i also collect pretty much whatever takes my fancy, LOL.. For instance, this Tamiya-virus hit me only a bit more than 1 year ago, and it is still going strong, hehe..

Also, i collect small toy cars, especially from Matchbox and Mattel/Hot Wheels.. There are quite a lot of different models also, and the nicething, that they are very small.. Not like the Tamiyas, which currently have filled my entire workshop PLUS 3 closets in the bedroom, (which were originally meant for clothes, but s*** happens, right?)..

I have the same space problem.

I began to collect all vintage chain driven 1/8 gas buggies.

Then I wanted some nice rear driven ones too.

After that, this weird Tamiya collect virus hit me.

But now I am pretty cured by my collection of hard bodied on-road cars and buggies till No. 35 or so.

Recently I sold or traded all my Lexan cars and newer gas buggies.

I collect cars I always wanted or had, I was big into offrad in the late 80's and now race more on road but can now afford the cars I wanted as a youngin! I currently own an astute new built, madcap restored, dyna blaster being restored and my pride and joy an avante I bought new when I was 14 but never ran cause I couldn't afford the radio gear! only just painted it 2 years ago and still haven't put the decals on
