Will the F-150 BFG tires fit on the rear wheels if the Wild one without modification??

Reason I ask, I want a more realistic tire on my W.O.. I have a pair of the Carson Modelsports treaded front tires and I really dont like the tread design or the height of their rears. I was hoping I could get a pair of the F150 tires around the stock wheels. A better looking tire IMO.

The width and diameter doesn´t match unfortunately. However, TC member Toykid has made a very nice scale looking Wild One (Click here) which uses Hummer wheels on the back, narrower modified wheels on the front and the tires are actually the BF Goodrich ones (apart from the tire decal then). He has a 'how to' for them I believe, as he also made/used them on his Sand Scorcher

Yes, you can use the Stock F150 BFG tires and wheels at the rear. But you will need a hex adaptor. I used the cool Tamiya Frog hop up part for this, but there are other ways to do it. I currently have those exact F150 tires & wheels on my WO as I wanted to get BFG's on it to match the original BFG decals on the car

I run re-re Rough Rider tires on mine fitted to a set of Centerline-styled aluminum rims for those tires (available on ebay), and they run and look great..
