Figured this was the best place to ask, I recently bought 2 RC cars to have some fun with my kids.

A Mad Bull and a gravel hound, the wheels on the mad bull are awesome and I was wondering if I could put bigger (not as big as those of the mad bull just as big as possible) wheels/tires on the gravel hound.

I found plenty of wheels and tires but cannot figure out which of the bigger ones actually fit (those of the mad bull do not fit, they are simply too wide to fit on the "axis?" of the gravel hound).

So question is where can I find bigger offroad wheels for the gravel hound that fit for sure and side question is can I exchange the "axis?" (do not know if that's the correct term) on the gravel hound for a longer one so wider wheels/tires fit.

I would lover to semi-monster the gravelhound.

Any things I should take into account if I manage to put big-*** wheels on it?

Thanks in advance!

You can get a set of wheel wideners from a company called Junfac - www.junfac.com, that will widen the track to allow for larger wheels and tyres to be put on there without them fouling on the chassis.

Only thing I will say though is much bigger than Mad Bull wheels and tyres, and you're going to up the gearing too much and the motor or esc will over heat. I've found that 2.2 monster truck wheels and proline dirt hawg tyres work well on the DF-02 - but these arent that much larger than the Mad Bull ones.

Thanks, I actually did not mean wheels bigger then thos of the mad bull but bigger then those on the gravel hound.

The mad bull wheels might actually be overkill already :D

Are there wheels which are bigger and fit the gravel hound without changing anything ?

They do not need to be wider just a mean tire profile and higher.

I actually fitted a set of 4 rear mad bull wheels to my rising storm when I had it, so it can be done. It makes a great fun car, but the gear ratio is very high with the standard gearing. If you're going to try it you need to get the smallest pinion and largest spur gear that will fit to get the gear ratio down.

PS You might find that F350 hi lift wheels and tyres wioll fit. They will be beigger than standard wheels & tyres, and be hard wearing on tarmac, and also have the standard hex drive.

Ah right in which case any of the 12mm hex 2.2 monster truck wheels will be fine (I had HPI 5 star ones on mine) fitted with proline Dirt Hawgs or Dirt Works tyres - and that's without any other modification.

mind sharing which HK ebay shop, 1.9 should be big enough and HK shipping to Holland is pretty inexpensive compared to US based shops.
