It's in the mail now. I guess I shouldn't talk until I get it in my hot little hands though. I just have to say it. I worked out a deal for a NIB Sand Scorcher. It was sent yesterday with priority mail so I should get it by Wednesday or Thursday. I will keep you guys posted.

Build it!

Otherwise what is the point? if you leave it in bits, you might as well just have the box. You could always chuck in a handful of rocks for that authentic weight and sound.icon_smile_wink.gif

My Wife couldn't understand why I wanted to go home for lunch. well the reason being was that there was a NIB sand scorcher sitting on the porch. I had to open it up to check it out. It looks to be all there with the exception of the manual which the seller told me about. I am super stoked. I paid $500 which I feel was a more than a fair price considering how much anything NIB goes for nowadays.

For anyone who has a NIB scorcher, can you tell me how the parts are arainged within the box? these are all jumbled up

Thanks

Jim

Congrats Jim!

That's a great deal too, I bet we'll see the one on the bay go for $2K or so.

But who cares, they are just soooo cool... I just love to see the inside of my SS body kit. I can imagine what it's like to have the whole thing. Just awesome. And you can easily find a manual.

I might wanna come over and see it sometime! (hey, I'm in Palo Alto, it's close by) icon_smile_big.gif

Now the guilt starts. Should I build it or leave it in the box?

WOW! (drool) icon_smile_approve.gificon_smile_cool.gif

I think you should leave it this way, it look soooo neat! And they are rare too... icon_smile_evil.gif

I think you should leave it this way and don't sell it or something. This is much cooler to look at then dollar bills with some old president on it. This is far more interreseting too. I think you should never built it, you've already got a new built SS anyway. Now to get yourself some crappy old runner and you've got yourself the 'Collectors dream' on 'The Holy Grail'. That would be neat! icon_smile_big.gif Oh yeah, good luck controlling yourself not to built it. icon_smile_wink.gif
