I think you'll find out within 2-3 weeks from the release if they have improved on the A Parts, as that's when the fanatics already built their cars, tested it for the first time and after a week they decided it was time for a vintage meet - a bashing weekend - or trying jumping it

very nice indead so you payed 244 pounds christ cheap as , ive tryed the import tax estimater thing that was posted but it was saying id be paying around 70 tax ...that would take the total to 420 pounds ,wow a small saving of 30 quid if it right which i carnt see it being .. when they said ripp off britain they were right !!

Tamiya makes sells a protective clear seal for bodies and under chassis.

But I have to admit, top shelf article and pics... wish I could get paid to do that! :envy:

I believe the titanium rods will be available in February, an absolute must if you want to run the avante on the tracks, for durability. Especially the rods on the lower front suspension arms

I just saw a 2011 avante on ebay, the greedy scumbag not only has a high price but very high shipping charges.

I understand trying to cash in on the very enthustiastic purchaser who cannot wait but to rip off twice seems a little too much.

I just hope they start arriving at some reputable stores who price fairly.

I wasn't sure if theses were going to get re released or not so took the plunge and bought a vintage set off of ebay the other day. The price i paid i think was very reasonable and i imagine will be the same if not cheaper than the re issue rods anyway......................now just the Ti screw set to go please Mr T!

Rosey, we have received confirmation from the Hobby Co that the Titanium screw set is to be released, just waiting for a confirmed price.

lol He's actually a really nice bloke If you really want an Avante and dont mind paying a little extra its pretty good that you can get one early. Like most things you pay a little more for being first in line

The inclusion of ESC is up to the local distributor. I believe North America (Canada and USA) usually adds the ESC, plastic wraps the kit box, and add a sticker saying ESC is included before shipping it off to the LHS.

I see the original set (53029) that was listed on ebay sold this morning for 112.50 euro. Certainly a lot less then it would have been couple of months ago.

Looking at the 2nd Avante to be listed, this one comes with the ESC, Extra Wheels & T-Shirt. It as the 1st one also has a cracked motor blister so I'm guessing that may be common.
