Looks like a few ReRe's, and the RWD M-chassis bodyparts sets are coming back for the M06 Pro no doubt. I'm curious to see what the M05 plated parts look like in red and black though :) Stadium Blitzer on the 2010 Holiday Buggy chassis? :P Blitzer Beetle next?

Quite funny that the Stadium Blitzer is being re-released, as I just bought two body sets from LHS a couple of months ago, one of which was ordered in for me internationally lol.

At least the front wheels will be cheap as chips now!

There is definitely some cool stuff coming through!

I think Christmas Cards are severly underated this year... :)

Funny in the last 10 days everyones been buying Stadium Blitzer wheels both rears and fronts especially (maybe they not going to be the same wheels as originals?)

I'll take my chances. chances>$22 :)

Stadium Blitzer - yahoo. Also watch all of the Blitzer Beetle body mounts dissappear very quickly - there seemed to a lot of those around the last few months also. I wish they would release more stadium Thunder wheels(yellow) also as I have two sets of fronts in yellow (second hand but good condition) and two sets of rears from the Stadium Blitzer in white. I might just have to paint them. I with you Berman on the wheels - worth waiting to see what they release as $22 is a lot for a pair of wheels but it is all supply and demand at the end of the day - but exchange rate is getting better for us all the time.

The Avante also - hopefully the end price will be a lot lower than the quoted price.

Oddly enough, Tamiya USA has been quietly selling Stadium Thunders on its site as a "limited production" re-release (although I'm betting they just uncovered some old stock of the kit as it even includes the old 3-step MSC, but at least comes with a Sport Tuned motor Whoo-hoo!).

So now I know why front wheels for the Blitzer have been showing up on eBay.

I bought two sets so far. Luckily they were fairly cheap (I think around $18 US including shipping each set).

I feel like a doofus now.

I'll be buying a NIB Blitzer even though I restored one this summer. Very enjoyable truck to build (or restore!).

i want one of these

too weird looking. the front is very nice but the rear is hard to describe. i guess that's why that version was never sold in the states. they should have reissued the r33 skyline body on the tt01 chassis.

i own a old type (2004) CTR and from what ive heard the newer one is a bit of a dog to drive, and slower, but the styling does grow on you when you see them around enough like in the UK. thought they'd have sold well in the states? (they can't go round corners)

not the version in the pic. the body was was too crazy looking for it to sell well here but the new cr-z has somewhat of an odd shape but is selling. i guess because it's a hybrid with a 6 speed manual trans. i'm not a honda fan since they killed the s2000 and was not building any rear wheel drive sports cars.

Will the Sand Scorcher body set fit on the Stadium Blitzer if you just swap the body mounts to the Blitzer Beetle? Anyone know? Seems like it should do.

Yes and no. It's not a straight fit because the front body mount hole is not in the right place though obviously you could fill and move.

However if you don't fancy doing that the Blitzer Beetle body is still readily available.

Thanks Olly. I rather suspected they were different, but I had hoped it was a direct fit. I should just man up and buy the Blitzer body set, but they are a bit pricey while the body sets for the scorcher seem to run about $40 complete.

I'm guessing that's just supply & availability with the new 2010 re-re? I've been eying Blitzer sets for awhile now, but ... the price = ouch.

Let's just hope the rere Blitzer has a more durable shell this time around. I will probably get 1 or 2 kits of those just to build and run. Might even be a great first truck for my daughter..... She loves my Blitzer Beetle and claims it as "Her car" but she'll have to make do with the SB.

I'm thinking Stadium Blitzer Re Re will be on DT02 chassis like the Holiday Buggy. The DT02 chassis is of a very similar design to the Blitzer.

I'm expecting the Blitzer on a DT02 chassis too maybe with a larger spur gear/smaller pinion combination (like the Bear Hawk vs Blitzers). The DT02 chassis doesn't really have the gearing options to run the larger Blitzer wheels without some sort of change to the pinion/spur.

... Although they may just surprise us with the new DN01 chassis under a Blitzer (Now that would make a great kit).

I see what you mean... As those original chassis' don't share all that many parts, or am I wrong about that? And yeah, they've done it before... A DN01 under it would be awesome indeed, it would make a very tough runner and it might be - even though it isn't actually a short course truck - that's it's also to look whether there's enough demand for offroad trucks (including SC trucks) from Tamiya (which I think there is plenty of)

I also like the sound of the F150 SVT Lightning being re-released - allbeit on the TT01. I've always liked the looks of that shell, but nowadays it seems that supply of these is very low on ebay.

Most of my Bear Hawk is Blitzer Beetle so I can get a better ratio for the 4600Kv Mamba. The only real difference is the body mounts and the 2 halves of the gearbox which accommodate the larger spur/smaller pinion of the Blitzer and the bigger wheels on the Blitzer of course. The colours of the parts are the opposite way around, red vs black.

That would be a disappointment but I fear you're probably correct.

There wouldn't be anything wrong with that combo but if I want a DT02 there's already plenty to choose from - I'd prefer the old Blitzer chassis.

If they did it on a DT-02 it would be indestrucable!

However the DT-02 is quite short compared to other 2WD buggies but is the Blitzer also short perhaps?

I personally would welcome more parts for the DT-02 chassi to play around with, a bigger spur or smaller pinion option would alow me to mount my 6500Kv BL system with a nice ratio... ;)
