Midnight Pumpkin/ Lunchbox Hopups

I just wanted the know what hopups are out there for the pumpkin. I have owned the truck for 23 years right now still runs with the trucks of today. I have a 12 turn moter, chassis braces, oil shocks, 3rd shock. i just ordered the futaba fx10 front arms. Like anything i always want more. What else has been done to them, They are a fun truck to drive around.

think you've done all the normal upgrades, although ive not gone as far as to get the fx10 front end. how about a mild brushless with lipo lol.

Centring the steering servo will make it steer evenly both directions and will remove the bumpsteer if you've also done the FX-10 double wishbone front suspension mod. A better servo saver and a high torque metal gear servo is a big help with steering the large wheels.

I've done these mods to mine and am using a Futaba S9351 steering servo. It steers great... when the front wheels are actually touching the ground, which isn't very often with the brushless MambaMax 5700Kv pushing it along.

Kamtec V12 lexan bodies fit the wheelbase well for guilt free roll overs. I panic a little bit everytime I tip it over with a hard body fitted.

Do you have a pick of the center steering? It is a failing point of these trucks i have never liked the bumpsteer the trucks have.

I'd imagine that there would still be bumpsteer if you were using the standard single arm front suspension. I'm not putting them back in to see . The centred servo on it's own would only result in even left/right steering throw.
