I am thinking of selling my much loved Super Clod. What once was the centre of my display piece is now just sat in the garage unused. I have clung on to it for as long as I can and it's not fair on the poor thing to be stuck away doing nothing.

I am killing myself for selling my custom crawler which I did here http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?...c=31719&hl= but, as I can't get it back I keep feeling to ease the pain sell the Clod (last of my collection) and be done.

I sold my Transformers & SW collection last year (£10k's worth) and don't miss it too much simply because I sold the lot and have nothing to remind me of it.

So guys talk me out of it...

Otherwise what is a pretty mint, rarely used super clod worth these days, ball raced with ripmax no limit esc?

I don't even have any younger family members who would want it and have daughters myself who maybe interested if I did a slamming pink paint job with disney princess livery, not going to happen.

If it's just rotting in the garage, sell it - it'll be worth more now than in two years time (it'll be 2 years more rotten by then)

I've kept loads of old toss for years for some reason, but sold most of it in the last 5 months and don't miss any of it.

Be realistic, what use is it if you don't use it? It's just gonna end up smashed or rusty

Sorry bud, I agree with Twinset on this one. I have been through the same as him, held on to stuff for literally no reason other than I liked to look at it.

It's nice to have pretty things hanging around but if you really don't use and are unlikely ever to then let it go.

TBH the Super Clod is still available so if you find after selling it that your life is bereft and you really can't go on living without one then you can buy another.

Incidently I also sold a huge Transformers and Battle Beasts collection about five years ago in one hit to a collector. Now that is a completely different matter - I do miss that a lot. You can't simply pop out and buy a boxed Targetmaster Kup from Argos to ease the pain.

I think the real question is why you don't use it anymore? Do you not have the time for RC anymore, or is it just something you've just no longer got any interest in? Or are you just bored of the Clod as it is?

I'd say if it were any of the first two, then as Twinset says, you're better off selling it. However, if its the third one, then I can heartily recommend modding the bejesus out of it, and make it something more than it is. Clods are legendarily moddable, and the only limit with them is your own imagination.

Thanks for the responses guys. Think I will sell it then.

Guess £100 with radio gear and the ESC on ebay will do it. At least I could buy again if I feel the need for it.

Olly, I feel your pain, I had some nice G1 and diaclone stuff that I couldn't just go out and buy again.
