SuperChamp body colors

What other colors did the superchamp body come in? I saw a black and red one once. How rare are they?

I thought they were all blue.

I know the fakes came in 4 or 5 different colours though.

When you say fakes, do you mean another companies aftermarket one or one that was designed to decieve you by claiming to be tamiya?

I remember something about these being blue, red, and black. Maybe Papa Tamiya's Italian Godson Roby can shed some light on this.

By fake I mean third party HB whole car copies designed to look like the HB. Like this one

Don't get me wrong - I'm not knocking them. In someways I think they are actually more interesting than the originals. You certainly see much fewer of them on ebay.

I would never had known any different as i have never owned or really looked at these cars. If someone said they were tamiya i would have believed it as i only vaguely know these bodies. On the SC i would have thought it was painted not different colour plastics. Just goes to show you.

As far as I know all SC bodies are blue plastic (the same like the Ranger XLT but different to Holiday Buggy) and there don't exist any SC copies...
