A mate of mine had focus then got a subaru. Both exactly the same. They did about 15-20mph I think not sure but seemed fast. I might make him a offer on the focus one day.......

Oh forgot to add the speed was on tarmac. His garxens grass was to long and the suspension would have to have been raised. He never took it on a dirt track though.

If you want a car that does everything, you can't really go wrong with a TB01, tough as old boots and just by swapping the shocks and wheels/tyres they look and handle well as both a tarmac terror or a rally machine, you just need to make sure the grass isn't too long and the dirt tracks aren't too rough or stony.

Just type TB01 into the search engine here and in the Tamiyaclub showroom search and you'll see what I mean.

I have the Focus WRC on a TL01 chassis and with a silver can motor and a 19t pinion and it's quick enough on Tarmac. I think we clocked it at 24mph once. It's useless on long grass though but that's cause I have Tarmac Tyres only. There's a short grass and AstroTurf area near me and I'm going to try that out once I get the time. The Impreza and Focus both came on TL01 chassis so it's all down to what you prefer the look of. Definitely a decent chassis for bashing and it's quick enough to learn how to control oversteer and get donuts perfected.
