it's standing on it's own now. wheel wideners went pretty smooth, i messed up one wheel that i think i can fix.

i mounted a set of 80mm yeah racing shocks that i had laying around, they work much better then i expected(and look fantastic). i'll get a set of traxxas big bores when $$ allows.

it's huge now, 3" longer and 2" wider then stock, it barely fits on my shelf.

i mounted a spare lexan shell that i had gotten with another truck, it's not pretty but will work for now.

i promise i'll get my camera from the missus and get some pics up soon.

you would have to drill two holes on each side of the truck. the body mounts on the terminator are on the sides like a crawler.

i'd never run the hardbody on a modded clod though. one of the reasons for the modded chassis is to lower the c.o.g.. the hardbody just makes the c.o.g. higher.

Cant wait to see it Pete

I have plenty of clod spares and have thought of building another monster truck but modded aswell, so have been lurking and watching this thread with anticipation.

I'm missing the major parts to build a modded clod which is the axles (well at least the internals) and tyres.

Looking forward to seeing your progress!

the body is temporary, it came with a blackfoot i got.

the shocks are also temporary, they are only 80mm, i have a set of 100mm on the way.

i broke the servo horn last night, it was well below freezing and i tagged a mail box at speed.

i have a kimbrough servo saver on the way.

Haha that looks awesome!

I wonder what bodies will fit it? It must be quite a bit more stable with the longer wheelbase and track now huh?

it's so stable i can't get it to flip with the silver cans.

just about any body will fit, it's mounts are on the side and they are pretty long with multiple holes.

Mucho wonga on show - must look away :D

Looks like a good turnout , and idea place for the first run out. Doesn't look like there's a huge amount of turning space for 2WS ?

the trucks didn't have too much trouble making that turn, if you came into the corner too fast you'd have an issue. but for the most part the trucks had enough power to kick the rear end out and make the turn.
