Which Clod Shocks?

am in the market for some new ali shocks for the clod project am building. Its only going to get light use and my back yard is like dense woodland / rocky etc.. so I wont be doing any 10ft air lol.

Saw those integy piggybacks and thought they looked nice but having read up on the interweb they have a bit of a slating.

just wondering what you clod guys have got or can recomend are you using 4 or 8 ? are 4 good quality oil shocks enough ?

i bunged some YEAH RACING 100m shocks on mine , just 4 of them is plenty , i used yeah racing oil marked 400 . it seems to handle good , but them then after the standard pogo stcks ! they where cheap too , bout $25au covered them and the oil ..of eblah of course

GMade 'Zero' shocks are pretty nice;

Traxxas 'Big Bores' are another popular option, but getting 4 is the difficult bit (they're normally sold in 8s)

Integy shocks are ok if you get a good set, otherwise they do leak a fair bit

Start off with 4 and see how you get on, the truck is a lot different with proper shocks

Those GMades look nice. Are they ok for bashing? They're pictured on a crawler set up is all.

thanks for the info guys. have gone for a set of losi comp crawler shocks, I'll let y'all know what they're like when they arrive
