I don't have a Sand Scorcher nose cone for my new built . I have a bunch of Monster Beetle nose cones. When I put one on my Sand Scorcher body. I noticed that it rubbed considerably on the front shock up right. I had to take a way quite a bit of material around the bottm to make it fit right. I took a look at the Sand Scorcher nose cone in my kit. other than the mounting tabs for the light bar on the Monster Beetle, I can't tell the difference in the shape of the two. The front body post is straight. My only thought is that the back of the body is too high causing the front cone to rub. How long are the spacers between the rear clip and the body

The monster beetle nose cone should work. Can't say off hand the measurement but about 10mm i think. It has a slightly different curve to the top but hardly any difference. The main one of course being it has no indicator holes. I started a topic about all the differences between the monster beetle and scorcher a while back. I did ask that it be put in the FAQ section but its gone now (can we bring it back?) This is bound to be a question that will be asked time and time again. Is there any chance of a structured file system that allows us to view FAQ's about different models, or at least the ones most in demand, chris?

It would be great if you could add FAQ next to the online manual/ user rides section of the site. I have no idea what work is involved to do this but i am having a creative week with my ideas...

I got them both here, the main difference on a MB cone is the lip underneath (below number plate) - SS one doesn't have it.

Apart from that, they're the same width, height and depth.

I also got one body clip spacer - may be from a SS and it's 0.2575" (6.5mm) long.
