Tazer 12t Esc Help Needed!

Hi guys, I have 2 of these and they have always been useless! For some reason t's just not working and I have set it up as per the instruction manual to a TEE!!

I have the ESC wire into Channel 2 on the receiver, and the servo into channel 1. Can anyone explain as to why its not working and when setting up the ESC the lights are not working as if there is no signal coming from the controller. Any ideas?

If there's no lights working then there's probably something wrong with it. I know that with mine (have 3) that you have to set them up quick i.e, push button-push throttle,-push button-pull reverse,-push button.

They are not a bad esc as such, but the mud constant amperage and delay reverse-slash-brake is pretty poo, also it's more like a 14t esc...

What Transmitter/receiver are you using? Does it have BEC circuitry? It sounds like you're not getting power either to the receiver from the ESC or a signal back from it so I'd try a different receiver first then check the plugs for a loose wire maybe. (Check your crystals are not fitted the wrong way round, my son had swapped mine and it took me hours of fiddling and dismantling before I noticed.)

arghhhh doesn't appear to be any of the above. It's weird as it USED to work and its so so new it's had about 2 hours use out of it TOPS!!

Worse thing is that it was more expensive than a standard Tamiya TEU model!!

Are you sure it's nothing else, maybe a dodgy wire on the motor or the battery? Are you sure the transmitter and receiver are working okay?

Hi guys I've tried a whole new set of crystals n it and it appears to be that, weird but there we go! AT least it's sorted. No idea why it's stopped being 4WD though! Oh well thats up in another thread!
