SOLD!

GarageSale_04630_1291933359.jpg

My last (and imho best) RWD M-04M based project that is complete apart from paint and and ESC, and based on the car shown in the image above. This has been built from brand new parts and never run. The bodyshell was discontinued by Carson a couple of years ago which is a shame as it is a very scale looking version of one of the greatest late 70's / early 80's BMW touring cars.

I wanted to use a RWD chassis for realism and this chassis is the result. It is a new Tamiya M-04M chassis with some extra chassis spacers, TL-01 suspension arms and upgraded mini CVA oil filled dampers. The wider rear wheel track has been achieved by using a full set of new Taisan Porsche split rim wheels and new tyres (very similar to the BBS wheels used on the BMW's of the same era).

For full details on the build see my showroom entry here

Features:

  • Rare Carson BMW Group 5 320 touring car shell that has been discontinued for several years with NIP Carson full Wurth decal set and window masks.
  • Fully ballraced
  • Tamiya M-04M chassis fully built and fitted with the wider TL-01 suspension arms front and rear
  • Tamiya TL-01 hopup adjustable upper steering arm set are fitted allowing toe-in adjustment
  • Fitted with hopup Tamiya mini CVA oil filled shocks
  • full set of Tamiya Taisan Porsche gold and chrome rims with brand new unused tyres are included
  • new Spektrum steering servo is included
  • new hopped-up Orion Pro BB 2R 13x3 motor is fitted
  • Tamiya Mazda Eunos M-04M based assembly manual is included (for chassis construction information)

Please note auction price includes insured shipping within the UK. If you can collect I am willing to automatically deduct the shipping costs from that price (approx 14 GBP).

Also note its a best offer auction so feel free to "make me an offer" . Sorry not looking to trade as am no longer really involved with RC and need the cash if I'm brutally honest - other hobbies are now draining my bank account as fast as my Tamiya addiction did!!

Also have most of the rest of my showroom going on ebay shortly including a lot of vintage spares. Feel free to ask any questions, but please take the time to read the auction description first as I put a lot of time and effort into it and it might answer your question

Thanks for reading.
