Hotshots - What's The Differences Between Them All?

Could someone let me know how many incarnations of hotshot there were (excluding any rtr/qd versions) and what the differences were between them. I understand there were changes to the front gearbox clips and the main deck but what else?

Model numbers would be helpful too, and are parts fully interchangeable?
