I noticed that the Bullhead is 'supply limited' at towerhobbies. I also notice no Bullhead at www.tamiyausa.com in the Trucks section where the Clodbuster is still listed.

Did they discontinue it?

Usually the accepted convention is that if the car no longer appears in the current Tamiya Catalog or RC Guidebook, then the distributors can no longer order it from Japan.

Discounting local stockpiles, think the BullHead disappeared off the print long before the Clod did.

You're saying the Clod is discontinued too? Uh Oh.

I already picked up a Jugg because I knew they were discontinued. I was hoping to get a NIB (to build) Bullhead and Clod some time in 2003.

I guess I will always be able to get a used one on ebay. Now might be the time to get a NIB body from tower before they are gone however.

Thanks for the info

I'm sure you can still find a NIB Clod (easy) or Bullhead (a little rarer, but not as much demand) quite easily. Its all a matter of price; believe 5+ yrs ago there were quite a few chuckout sales on these, especially in Asia. All gone by now.

Jugg1s are real rare; Jugg2 has also disappeared off print since TXT1 came out but should still be able to find an odd one overseas. I'm not keen enough to pay retail pricing on a Jugg2 just to store it away for posterity.

Oz didn't get too many Juggs overall and towards the end the shops didn't receive all their backordered kits either - so low chance of a chuckout discount. icon_smile_cool.gif These kit boxes are BIG!, would cost a bomb in airmail.
