My Stadium Blitzer Restore

Hi all for the past couple well few months i have been trying to find time to restore an ebay purchase. This Blitzer was listed incorreclty on ebay as a Falcon probably because of the tub stamp but i only payed £21 with delivery so i was very happy with the purchase. i have had it several months but finding the time has been a nightmare but due to me been ill i have started restoring and stripping it. The car is in very good condition for what i paid there is only one crack on the entire chassis and thats the top of one of the suspenstion towers other than that all is good. the chassis is missing Three parts though the battery stay and and the front bumper original springs for the front and the spring stay the previous owner just used an old washer to stop the spring flying off.

The chassis came with a shell but i am unsure which one it is maybe a Dual Hunter? or a Proline Crowd Pleazer? although the paint job is done to a good standard its not for me i want this to be jet black so i am going to Screw Fix to get some Desolve it graffiti remover to try and get the paint off.... the wheels are Dyna Blaster wheels i am gussing these were added to the chassis as only the Chrome Blitzer Beetle cam with these wheels... all be it thay are pretty beat so i have replaced the rears with original white wheels (a steal off ebay 42p) and i think the fronts need doing also. The rear tyres look ok to me they are Schumacher vee 4's but i need some foam inserts!. The gearbox is perfect all the cogs are fine not a mark on them!

This bumper came screwed to the chassis and i no it not for this car and i have seen one on ebay recently but forgot the name can anyone tell me what its from?

As you can see the wheels do not fit the previous owner has stuck 3 bearings in there to fill the gap and i must say it fits spot on! but i need new wheels...

this is the bodgy i have used to secure the cracked mount and i must say its worked a treat its not the prettist or the most stuttle fix but its worked the best!

I need a front suspension stay the bit that slids on and keeps the spring secure

A original set of springs for the front - or i may upgrade them - can anyone recommend a set?

What are the best foam inserts to buy am scanning ebay atm...

Front Wheels - I would like original ones but i have seen a lot of the HPI ones on ebay and liking them but they are all 2.2 (rear fit) can anyone tell me which are 2.0 (front fit)

I need a battery stay if anyone has one???

Can anyone name the shell?

The front wheels dont fit the shaft i take it this is becasue they are for the dyna blaster?

In the future i plan to fix the front toe in when the suspension is compressed ive seen a fix some where i just cant remember where??? ill find it though....

get the body stripped and paint black or blue.... i just seen back to the future and his black toyota pick up ummmmm....

get a big motor in there to wheely then bash it lol
