Chevy Logo'd Clod

Whats the deal with the Chevy logo on the clod - I ask cos I just received a NIB body and it has the logo, but there's a guy on ebay selling the grill and tailgate with logo, with a BIN of $95 (I paid $51 for the body)

Did I just get lucky, or are the auction parts over-valued?

I think you got lucky.

The chevy logo is always going to be more collectable in the long run, just as a wild willy 1 series 1 is more collectable than a WW1 series 2. The different Cheetahs and versions of Rough Rider and SS will start to carry different prices, as eventually it won't be enough just to have a mint model any more... to be taken seriously you will need a mint first series model

What is the difference between the decal sheet for the chevy and non chevy logo trucks? I bought a set of "G"parts with the chevy logo for $18. When I saw the one in this auction

Differences on decals are all 'Chevrolet' writings disappeared.

check on my site the original decal and you'll understand.
