Merry Christmas all, Christmas is nearly over here in West Aus. It's been a great day with friends & family & I hope everyone at TC had the same.

This year I challenged my family to get me something Tamiya for christmas, no one found anything, or went to a hobby shop :)

But they all put together & gave me a wallet full of $$$$ on the condition that I buy something Tamiya with it  I'm happy with that!!!!

Only question now is what to get? hmmm this needs some thought .....

Allways nice to see a shiny new kit under the tree at Christmas though & I'm sure there's alot of smiling faces today,

not to metion some fun to be had over the coming weeks building & running or just building, whatever your preference. :)

I got a Beatties Bigwig bag with a TA01 Escort Cosworth and a battered German rally TB01 Impreza for me to rebuild, they should keep me busy for a month or so.

Who said I inferred that? I was just being jealous that you get to open presents first.

You happen to live in a timezone that changes dates before me.

I'm quite aware of how time changes exist around the world.

Oh. and I didn't get any Tamiyas under the tree this year. :)

Cheers,

Skottoman

Actually... we get to open the presents before the Aussies, they are two hours behind us, so we get all the glory

RC related I got a HK450GT heli and a Tamiya Master Modeler book from the Missus :)

My girlfriend did a pretty good job of convincing me that the wild willy 2 she'd ordered me hadn't turned up from wonderland models, and that they weren't answering the phone or answering emails. I tried phoning them as well with no reply on Xmas eve. So it was still a surprise when she arrived with a big box Xmas eve night with a silly grin on her face!

Finished the chassis yday, ok just how many paint pots do I need now lol?

Also got some Etronics pro 2.4ghz sticks from my family.

Merry Xmas all

Mardave V12 for me. The most ridiculously simple and straight forward thing I have ever built other than an Ikea workdesk.

Was originally going to mount my Lunchie shell on it, but have instead bought a Lexan Ford Anglia 105E shell and a set of chrome wheels from Kamtec

Have had a look around and none of the local RC clubs race Mardaves, but it was only going to be a fun on road basher for me anyway. I have a feeling it'll fill that gap just nicely.

WW2 NIB from the wife - looking forward to building it. Had it sent it direct to my folks so I wouldn't see the TC shaped box (as I did last yr :)).

A rere Bigtrak from my brother - not sure what to make of it tbh.

A 2nd hand Dirt Thrasher (vgc, box and manual), some 2 part filler, 2 x pair MB pin spike tyres, vintage Trinity bearings for my BF and an EZRUN 9T brushless combo from the parents - I give my fellow TC member dad my list and he buys it right on the button :).

Hmmmmmmm. Rere Bigtrak....Brushless combo....

She Who Must Be Obeyed bought me a NIB Buggy Champ 2009. Very happy with that! Maybe I can start building it this week ... beginning of course with the obligatory tire sniffing ritual. :)
