M05ra Alpine 110 - Tamiya Hop Ups ?

Hey folks, I received an XB RTR M05RA Alpine 110 for Christmas. 57807 - RTR. (58471 - Kit).

I want to mod it with genuine Tamiya hop-ups but only found 3 items on the Tamiya USA site which are the following:

54266 - Aluminum Upright Adapter

54253 - Aluminum Front Upright

51426 - Front Skid Plate with Side Guards (Included in kit I think but not the XB)

84160 - Black plated frame set - will this fit the XB M05RA ?? - it is really sharp.

Are there any other Tamiya goodies that will fit and also , I'm after a real nice set of alloy wheels ??

As you know, I'm a truck fella, these cars are all new to me - thanks .

Any of the M05 parts will fit. So go nuts.

As for Alloy wheels, the only Tamiya aluminum wheels for the M-chassis are the red cross ones and the spoke ones. Those are about 80-100USD for a set of four if you can find them. Else if you are after bling, the plated ones are nice lookin' too.

You could also choose some HPI Cup racer wheels and tires. They have some nice brushed metal plated looking wheels available.

But you must use the HPI tires with the HPI wheels. Tamiya tires will not fit. Of course the HPI tires are on-road, and not rally tires.

Still can't believe they released this car on a FWD chassis though....
