Pinion Advice

lunchbox on an rs sport tuned motor... wat size pinion should i run? and are steel pinions always best?

The kit pinion is the one to run. It's the only option you have. There are no other pinions that fit, unless you want to move the ratio the wrong way and remove the motor adapter and use a Hornet pinion, but this will make acceleration very, very poor and it will not wheelstand.

The kit pinion is 10T and made of brass. I'm yet to wear one out with brushless in my Lunchbox. The problems with soft pinions is the ones made of aluminium.

ah thats superb... thanks again mark, just wanting to ensure i have all the bits and pieces before i start to build rtaher than build and find out i would be better wi something like this :(
