hopefully there have been several that have done it I dont see why it wouldn't in my opinion.

I never quite understand why you'd want to go for any extra power in an SRB - they handle like a shopping trolley with a silver can - more power will make it even harder on the old smoothees... mind you the reliability is probably a bonus - it's a shame you've had to chop up the motor cover (not sure there's any way around it though) as the lack of maintenance with brushless goes hand in hand with the sealed gearbox of the SRB...

The only 'weak' part is the kit supplied aluminium pinion.

Castle ESCs can be tuned to be slower than a silvercan motor if so desired. The benefit of this is huge runtimes. ...or you can tune it for all out power and melt the tyres.
