Hi there,

does anybody know, which modell, bruiser or mountaineer, is compatible with the hilux (shell, glass, lenses, etc. ??)?

I think that i've heard, that one or even both, are similar to the hilux regarding the body and some attachments. I.e. the mirror could be the same for all the three. Who knows exactly?

thanks!

The hilux/Bruiser/Mounty body exist of a front and rear piece. I think the front piece of all these models is the same (it looks that way). The rear section of the Mounty and Hilux look the same, but the Bruiser's is different. I hope I am a bit of a help, I'm not 100% sure I'm right. [:)]

The cabs look the same but they are not. The hilux has smaller holes where the front grill mounts. It also doesnt have holes where the vent grill is near the door handle. the backing plate is also different. If you want to get technical, The only interchangable parts I see are the steering wheel, steering column, Driver. Headlight buckets, front turn signal buckets, mirror, front lenses.

Front cabs of Bruiser and Mountys have some extra holes on the side for the side bars and on the roof inside to attach the rear body but else are the same. All 3 front bodies use a different rear plate/window and all 3 rear bodies are different.

I knew it was something like that [;)] I don't have one (yet), so I don't really know... [:I] I would really LOVE to have a three speed, I admire this engineering marvel! [8D] I saw the movie on Roby's site and I fell in love [:X] Bet it will be an expensive affair though [:P]

No way!!

Hilux is a 'stepside' body with hard cover.

Mounty is an open full-width tray.

Bruiser has an open fill-width tray too, with a sleeper dogbox backed up to the cab.
