What are your hopes and dreams from Tamiya this year?

I would love to see the 2011 Fiesta WRC, not fussed with the chassis, but LED lights are a must. I know traxxas have done Ken Block's but you can't beat Tamiya's scale detail and I like the Abu Dhabi livery a lot.

I would also love to see some new body's on the new M06 ;) and some other team liveries on the F104 would be cool

I hope UK pricing is the same as the far east, but i know thats a dream.

On a serious note i hope they concentrate more on new kits than re-res this year.

A decent 'simple' (AS IN NOT OVER-COMPLICATED!!!!!) scale chassis would be sweet too - live axles, single speed transmission and a few good looking bodies.

There's enough companies supporting the concept now as far as hopups and options go.

Unfortunately, Tamiya's ability to take something basic and make it unnecessarily expensive through over-engineering will probably just mean more touring cars and drifters ;)

The CR-01 could have so easily been an AX10/SCX10 rival but for the exact reasons above it wasn't, I sold my CR-01 and bought two SCX10's :)

Oh man, I would love to see the Wild One re-re'd :D

I think a few people have pondered a TRF201 based short course truck from Tamiya in other discussions, that might be cool?

Any of the new WRC cars for 2011, the Fiesta, DS and the new MINI.

Any rally cars would do to be honest, how about the classic Subaru Legacy RS? A Skoda Fabia shell that doesn't cost the earth?

My top three re-releases Mt Tamiya, in no particular order please, would be:

1. Super Champ

2. Supershot (though the price tag might scare me)

3. Porsche 956

You never know...

An AWD M chassis variant with a cross-mounted motor that isn't a two deck design with an exposed spur.

I am hoping they will stop making everything for 6 months, while I clear my credit card.

Although a 959 re re would be nice.

I hope the Zahhak is discontinued right away, and they start working on a proper body for it - and make it cheaper (especially when you look at the price difference with the TRF201 vs. the difference in specs).

I'd love to see them produce some cool bodies - M-chassis a few, some more RALLY BODIES please :)

And I hope they are working on a good replacement for the Super Clod that they recently stopped producing.

i would buy a super champ...

i would buy a ford ranger...

+1 Twinset I hope as long as we get some decent hard bodies along the way perhaps if the went 'Brat' and gave us both. Also hard body bodysets, all the old ones that still in production for the price of a scorcher bodyset please Mr Tamiya.

I hope FAV/Wild One I would buy

I hope Super Champ I would buy

I hope Bruiser I would buy

58028: Toyota 4x4 Pick Up I dream, I would beg, borrow or steal to own :)

-just had a look again I missed out on that rumour of a rere 58028- :(

One of those crazy Icelandic rigs they throw up the side of cliffs would be good, especaily if they could replicate the wheel speed to make it pond skip across puddles, complete with a new Wild Willy as a driver and full interior, now that's something worth me dreaming of. Has anyone on here done one of these? I've never tried brushless would this be possible? In fact this sounds like a chalange any takers?

Being a huge "M" chassis fan, I'd also like to see more bodies/kits for the M06.

When they release the actual M06 kits (not M06 Pro chassis), I hope they're not just all re-re's of existing M bodies. Beetle, Alpine, 240z, etc..

How about something new to compete with the HPI Cup Racer?

Rear engine/Rwd

- Porsche 356

- Karmann Ghia

- VW Bus in M scale!

Cheers,

Skottoman

My real dream would be an Ranger re-release. Always wanted one as a kid, but when I was young it was too much and as I got older I raced, so it wasn't right..

I would deff. buy that....

A simple, back-to-basics stock car would be fun (I think Mardave may be selling a new version soon).

Some nice, hard-bodied scale 4x4s too (a Landy Defender, or Fiat Panda 4x4 could be a laugh)...

How about a Jackal? Complete with driver co driver and gunner? Now that would be cool. Beats the Hummer any day.

I'd have one of those in 1/10 over a hummer any day, good call, I would prefer one of them over the tanks as well.
