When assembled, they're measured from the centre of the hole in one ball end to the centre of the hole in the other or, if you're Tamiya, between the ball-ends.

If you've not decided on the ball-ends yet, you're going to struggle.

What do you need them for?

You need them 95mm hole to hole or you need a 95mm long rod?

There's quite a difference between the two

Ok thanks!

That was a question, not an answer

The easiest way to sort out the length is get yourself some 3mm threaded rod from a good hobby shop, B&Q or eBay and make up 'dummy' rods - £1.40 will get you 100mm on eBay or £1.90 for 200mm (search M3 studding)

That'll give you a good idea of exactly how long you need the proper pushrods.

Are these to replace the plastic TIE rods for the steering linkages ?

If so, the best bet is to buy some 3mm screw thread bar, some 4 or 5mm aluminium tubing and some rod ends, such as these http://www.modelsport.co.uk/index.php?product_id=13458 although there are other makes at half the price of Tamiya

Cut the screw threaded bar to the required length, add one end, measure and cut the tubing to cover the central portion of the screw bar, add the tube as a sleeve, then fit the other tie end.

You might be able to get the threaded bar and tubing at B&Q but a good model shop (selling railway as well as RC items) should be able to help you out.

The end product will look something akin to the 4 links used on a crawler like this... cpe-4l5050.jpg to give you an idea.

As far as I know, nobody makes ready-made rods (with rod ends), although Tamiya do sell the rods seperately sometimes, or as part of a spares bag.

If you can't cut 3mm studding, put the ballends in place then measure the distance between the ends.

Then, add 10mm to the length of your gap as you'll need about 5mm screwed into each ball end - this'll give you the rod length needed
