Hi very nice Build Thread, well done.

Does anybody know if the Avante 2011 front & rear dampers and springs fit the original Avante? They look pretty similar but it’s hard to know without fitting them and I don’t have an original Avante!

i wouldn't bother trying to interchange damper parts between the 2

the new ones are essentially a TRF damper grafted into the retro gold body with a covert bottom cap

let me go take and compare that for you on the shocks matter

if all you want is to put the new shocks onto original car, yes they are exactly identical dimensions

gotta collate a few different bags to build the shocks set - going by how they're getting pieced out

(gee those alloy front hubs might as well be made of gold they way they're priced!! )

@ Model_Build, here's.....

Front: 1988 - 64.5mm ~ 2011 - 62mm

Rear: 1988 - 83.4mm ~ 2011 - 85.8mm

Though there's a small different, its shd still fit.
