Just purchased a Super Champ

I just purchased a Super Champ off ebay. The reason I bought it was because my father had one when I was growing up and we had alot of fun with em so I have alot of memories with this particular car.The other car that I'll be getting next is an original Hotshot, he had one of these as well. I already have a re-re hotshot that I'm going to build, but I won' be keeping it stock.As far as the super champ goes I will be restoring it and keeping it original.My question is can anyone give me a little history lesson on the super champ.How rare are they, are they collectable,when were they released ect...Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hmm, I was just watching one on Ebay, you from Australia Will04? The one I saw looked like a pretty complete car, if it's the same, I think you have a very good base to build an exceptional model.

Yeah, I bought that car, but the Guy I bought it from I believe is from Australia, Im from the U.S. I think I got a good deal on it $260 U.S. considering I've been wanting one for a while, couldn't pass it up!
