Kyosho Optima Chain Drive

Recommended Posts

Four months to get a set of bearings?! :)

Good to hear the rebuild is finally underway. :)

No only ordered these on the 19th after a couple of false starts previously

Built with full bearings, Option House Kyosho Lemans 240ST, Mtroniks ESC, Bluebird metal gear Digital servo, and HK 2.4ghz radio gear. This will be a light runner (on different wheels and tyres, although these are re-pros, just couldn't bring myself to running them)

Looks awesome mate!

Almost a shame to cover that great looking chassis with a body! :)

What part no. is the servo?

This is the Servo mate.

A brand new body with boxart paint will hopefully do it justice, just gotta do it now....or I could leave it clear?

Hopefully it ends up looking something like this

Cheers for the link. :)

You could always get two shells for it.

One in box-art (unusual for you mate ;)) for running, and a clear one for the shelf.

Your Option House shocks look a 100 times better than those red plastic ones.

yeah, I usually steer away from Box-art, but this car just seems to need it, one of the best looking ever IMHO

The original red shocks are anodized aluminum, the collars were plastic and always broke. The gold option house ones are at least 1000 times better.

Threw on some option house tyres, generic black disc rims, and an old body I've got here, and think this looks pretty cool

Decided I'm gonna get hold of some liquid mask to do the box art body, already finished the tyre lettering
