I'm thinking about buying aluminum wheels for my super champ from pargu2000. Has anyone bought some of his aluminum parts or wheels before, and if so how did they fit, look, ect The quality from the pictures seem to be very good.Just wondering?

These are not a 3 piece wheel like the kit ones as far as I know. RC4WD has the 3 piece type that act like a beadlock in alloy (same wheels as a Sand Scorcher).

I have the Fox alloy wheels from pargu2000 and they are very nice.

I think Pargu does wheels and covers. I went for the whole wheel myself. They're a touch more expensive than covers but I think they look so much better than covers as covers always show the plastic wheel through them. I also went for his alloy spur primarily for the looks, though I don't know if he's making the spur anymore.

His wheels are superb and a very good price.

These rims can fit on the hornet can't they... can you tell me are these the subaru rubber fitted to the rims?

Yes those wheels will fit the Hornet. The tyres are Buggy Champ rears which are the same as Brat tyres.

If you want covers for your Hornet wheels then you want Sand Scorcher/Super Champ covers not Rough Rider/Buggy Champ covers - they are different diameters, and you will have to use the same tyres.

If you want to use the Buggy Champ/Brat tyres you'll need to replace the Hornet wheels, the Hornet wheels are a smaller diameter.

It's been touched on in this topic here ... Frog Spiked Tyres
