Robinson Racing pinion gears

I ordered an Ansmann's 13T 32 dp steel pinion gear, but have'nt recieved it yet, so I was wanting to know if anyones tried the Robinson Racing pinion gears in their Hotshot? I was looking at their 13T steel alloy 32 pitch pinion gear with 1/8 bore (#0130) The also have another 13T (#1713) but they want you to use their steel spur gear.Which one should I use?Aren't they both about the same? Do they fit like the Ansmann pinion gears? I was told that the Ansmann pinion gears are not as wide as the spur gear, so the area where the teeth mesh doesn't use all the available space on the spur gear.Which may cause irregular wear on the spur gear where the teeth mesh as all the power is being transmitted through a smaller area. Is this right?

Traxxas do a steel pinion that's a little wider than the RR ones, I've got them fitted in my clod on Titan 550 motors, less than £3 each from wheelspin models.

I think you have the right number for a 13t 32p steel pinion. Here is a photo of the correct one and the stock number is 0130.
