Gday all.

After some correspondence with mtbkym01, we have decided to organise a Vintage/Re-Re bash at Mitchell Park.

I went for a drive down there yesterday to have a look and get some pics.

I apologise for the poor photos.

The contrast with the shadows and sunlight made it hard to get much detail.

No dates have been confirmed as yet, but anyone who is interested, please post!

With enough people, we could make this an on going thing.

I've been told I should get a start date for my Transfer to SA in the next week or so, then it's full steam ahead, Got a couple more runners to add to my list aswell

I saw your latest additions, congrats! You'd be struggling to find somewhere to keep them all now!

I think it was KalEl63 who said he was keen for a bash also.

But he is waiting for his house to be finished being built, so he can get his cars out of storage.

So looks like we have 3 from TC.

I also went to Angle Park on Sun to have a look at AERCCC.

Weather was a bit dodgy, so was only a handful of people there.

Saw one qualifying session, then heard over the loudspeaker for everyone to pack up, because it started raining.

I wasn't there long, so I didn't get a chance to talk to anyone.

I tried to post a link to this thread on R/C Tech, but I couldn't do it because I don't have enough posts.

Track isn't too bad. There are a few potholes/rough sections, where the oil has crumbled away and exposed the dirt underneath.

That might only add to the fun!

I guess once word gets around, we'll have more interest.

I still need some more batteries, decent charger, and a few parts for my second Falcon.

mtbkym01 should be down in 4 weeks or so?

If we wait till he comes down before we start setting dates, that will give us time to sort out our cars.

(Plus give us another person to race! )

I might even have another car to run by then too.

I'm eyeing off a few Vintage Frogs. No Falcons!

If I can pick one up for the right price, I'll be happy.

Failing that, I'll have to wait another month or so for a pair of Re-re Frogs.

She knows I want 2 Frogs, one for me, one for my daughter, but don't think she knows how I'll pay for them.

But I'm really keen on tracking down a Supershot and/or Optima Mid of some description.

And another I'm considering is a Manta Ray/Top Force variant in reasonable condition.

Tryin to track down a Repro Fox body, It seems ***** has some issue, coz I cant buy from them, just get a blocked message when I try to complete transaction

Found an original, but dont want to spend $140 on one (that's a whole new DT02, Holiday Buggy, Stadium Blitzer etc....)


And considering a quite rare Kyosho Ultima Outlaw truck, Got a full set of wheels and tyres which are brand new, so it only seems logical that I get a truck to fit them on
