I'm now thinking of scrapping my plans for New Built Falcon project, and using the parts I have collected to go on the other 2 Falcons I have.

I don't think it's worthwhile having a car sitting on the shelf that will never be run, when Falcon#1 will spend most of the time sitting on the shelf also.

I'd rather have a more diverse collection of Runners.

What car will I get next?

Yeah I agree with you. I am fine with the Terra Scorcher to be sitting on the shelf so if the Falcon doesn’t arrive I will have to decide what to try and get.

King Cab and Astute are still top of the list but hard to find and I am still hoping the Astute is rere’d but if not a rere boomer would be good too I think.

I think a new body shell and front bumper on Falcon#1, and maybe a new gearbox cage, and it will look tidy enough to be a part-time Shelfer.

Got the gearbox together in Falcon#2 last night. Ball-raced, and Black Can fitted.

Drilled out the screw holes in the chassis, where the front end bolts up to accept bolts that go right through.

Nyloc nuts to replace all the nasty serrated nuts.

I should do a bit more work on it tonight.

Get this thing ready to run!

And I gotta stop looking at evilBay...I need new LiPo's, not a TA01...!

Depends how long the 2.4GHz radio gear and LiPo's take to get here.

I'll order them this weekend from HobbyKing, they have them in the Aus warehouse, so I guess they'll be here by the end of next week?

Well, confirmed yesterday that Wed 18th May will be my last day at work here, fly home on thurs 19th, spend just over a week doing some unpacking and shed organising, and start work down there on the 30th, now I'm really happy as I know what is going on. BTW, the minister for war and finance is pretty happy aswell, may have to hit her up for an early birthday present (read Avante)

Yeah everything should be up and going by next weekend. Got my Ezrun's today so only have to set them up in the DT-02 and Lunchie and get the oil for the dampers in. (once the postie delivers the oil)

I have to try the double slipper setting in the DB-01 tonight too. I found I had the ball diff not tight enough in the DT-02 once I got the motor going.

Been busy today, so haven't placed my order yet.

2.4GHz TX/RX. Just a cheapie for now, to work out if I like pistol grip TX as I've only ever had stick. And a couple of 5000mAh LiPo.

I need a couple of servos too. I'll have to place two orders, because the servos are from the international w/house.

But I am tempted to get another TX, as I'm placing another order anyway. Oh, what to do?

And some kind of alarm/cut-off for the LiPo. I should work that out first before I order anything.

From a Aussie supplier on eBay. 10 of each for I will have to log in to see what I paid but it wasn't much.

I think I will be ready for next weekend.

Lunchie - All done with the upgrades and Ezrun
