Nah I think Hotshot Boy is going to help me out with that :)

yeah can do, just bring the portable iron (mines in the post ;-) no problems.

My turbo optima is active as of the other night so look out any TS's or boomers ! (well at least until the super hotshot is up n running which'll be a few more weeks yet. .) As she has a tendancy to rule the track . . ! =~D It would be good to see a few 4WD classics getting amongst it next weekend. . ! !

Oh a challenge, better hurry up and get my 1987 XLS CAT running then, and my Optima and Turbo Optima.

Seriously, will look forward to seeing your Turbo on the track

It turns out I will be coming down to deliver an M03 but wont be bringing any cars as I will have my 2 yr old as the better half has to work :D

Might be a good thing as the DB01 will still be out of action as I haven't ordered the TRF dampers yet.

Fingers crossed on the weather side of things...! <_<

On a sadder note I test drove the optima with the new motor etc and went really well (not as fast as the old lemans motor but nice all the same) UNTILLLLL I hear a nasty clunking grinding sound coming from the gearbox...!! A small stone got into the box throught the crappy seals these things have and chewed out my BRAND NEW gears... :o I have replaced the broken 1 with the old one with a new one on the way.. Should be ok... I have created a custom seal for the gearbox cover and hope this helps... The optimas really only have 3 weaknesses, the steering servo mount, the gearbox cover, and the chain drive, really av considering the rest of the car is awesome... ???

The lunchbox is going great so these will be the 2 coming down on the weekend.. The DT-02 is in pieces after fitting all the 3racing goodies but the ball diff is rubbish...?? Cannot even get it undone to install, but I am highly doubtfull it will even fit....!!!! So anyone thinking about buying one DON'T...!!! the rest of the stuff is good though...! ;)

See ya's there...!

PS- How do I attach photo's..??? Using the attachment thingo it comes up with FastCGI Error...???

Try uploading your photos to a hosting website like photobucket, imageshack etc (I use photobucket), then link the image code to your post here, good full size pics are displayed rather than those little thumbnail thingys.

I hate to say it and I mean no disrespect but 3Racing stuff is rubbish and I did read a thread a while ago when I was looking into getting my DT02 that the ball diffs a piece of junk.

Sorry I but keep in mind these are just my opinions but after bending my front damper on the DB01 the other weekend all so easily I will never buy 3Racing stuff again.

On another note I wish I was bringing my Lunchie down this weekend. Will have to save it up for the next meeting

omg the rain forecast for saturday is looking worse and worse. now its upto 12mm rain, so seems hobby habit will be busy that weekend

Just heard a report a minute ago saying 'possible showers' so guess we'll see... Can just imagine the look on the HH guys faces when about 20 guys with dozens of cars roll in lol... ;)

Yeah some stuff is **** (diff obviously and already ordered the OEM version..!) but the uprights and carriers are awesome... so guess its just hit and miss like it is with most aftermarket stuff... :) I'll do more homework next time... ;)

Whats wrong with the box..?? Was lookin forward to actually getting a decent run in this week... mine is going a treat.. :P

B) Hows the weather holding up guys ?.

Been raining, but has stopped now.

Hopefully that is all we get.

Will head to Hobby Habit if it's too wet tomorrow.

So did you rc boats or cars :) this weekend .

Hay do you guys run every two weeks for vintage stuff ?.

I may look at coming over for one maybe ?.

As we don't have that sort of thing here . It would only take day & a bit to get there .

I may look into it , in the next few weeks .

What do i need to know ?. Thanks .

Boats would've been handy!

I do have an RC yacht, but it has a 270mm draft, so need a bit more rain. :)

We went to Hobby Habit instead, which has a couple of indoor tracks.

Next bash is on the 16th July.

Just check the weather before you make the trip across the Nullabor!
