I'm gonna be extra careful, I was looking for a genuine Tamiya TFE decal set but it seems they are no longer available on Planet Earth!

The 1st set I ordered had bad creases :P the replacement set was better, so I should be able to complete the job, using both sets if necessary.

Will post pics once the shell is complete.

Body has been trimmed and washed, had to slightly adjust the drilling point for the aerial. It's now ready for paint.

I removed the protective film on the wing, masked the front and sprayed the back, had me confused for a while :unsure:

Paint job and decals completed, and it was a bit of a nightmare in all honesty.

Took a long time to do, I used most of both decal sheets due to making mistakes, and there are still a couple of creases here and there.

Project isn't finished yet, new wheels and tyres are required, and will probably upgrade the suspension if I find something suitable.

Been advised that Normal TF Star dish wheels can be sprayed PS-24, might give that a go as I can't find the orange DF-03 wheels anywhere B)

Cheers, a post you wrote on another thread regarding the difficulty of correctly applying the TFE repro decals helped me a lot so thanks :D

lol - it's only $100 less that a re-re Top Force NIB.

You'd be smarter to get the entire kit and part out the spares you don't want - more time but you'll save a lot of $.

worth a shot. that is part of the fun on these cars, playing the slots and hoping for a payout with 3 cherries :P

Agreed, some you win, some you lose. But I think it all balances itself out in the end :)

Just remember to use the other parts that are std on the evo & TC like the 6mm rod ends and ball joints, adjustable upper arms and steering rods, pins in the suspention arms, hollow gear tubes, Uj drive shafts, hard diff joints etc etc

i was going to bid on this one as i wanted the body LOL

@TamiyaDan - lol, and I'm still way under the 1500 budget :)

Cheers, Is there a full list of differences somewhere?
