I just spotted these on ebay. Losi.com.

Want a scale-looking truck that can handle any terrain? The 1/24 Micro 4x4 Trail Trekker RTR from Losi is the vehicle for you. The 4x4 Trail Trekker features an articulating suspension that can handle challenging obstacles like the LOSB1622 Micro Terrain Mountain. The Micro 4x4 Trail Trekker features a longer wheel base and revised suspension geometry than its cousin the Micro Crawler which allows for greater maneuverability when tackling tough terrains. The Micro 4x4 comes completely ready-to-run with a 2.4 GHz DSM radio system, high-capacity battery pack, and charger included. With a realistic scale body in either black or silver and Micro AT Tires, the 4x4 Trail Trekker looks as good as it performs.

These would be great as a chassis under the many 1:24 and 1:25 static model trucks and 4x4s. I see quite a few people have done the same to 1:24 crawler chassis. I have the perfect Revell Chevy Stepside static kit to fit on one.

It looks easier to mod than the crawler chassis as it's got full length chassis rails (like the Bruiser)

I tried messing about with the Crawler but fitting a scale shell to that was a lot of work.

They've also used vertical body posts on this one!

Having said that, the stock shell's pretty sweet too.

If you need any specs confirming, let me know, I got one at home

You're right, it's totally inappropriate to post details about a cool little 1/24th scale truck and even more inappropriate to suggest it could be cooled-up even more by mounting on of literally thousands of 1/24 or 1/25 scale shells from the likes of Revell, Monogram, AMC, ERTL etc, loads of which are readily available on eBay from around £7, should your LHS have trouble supplying them

Now, who's already humming the Fall Guy theme tune?

A totally wrong link

1/24 Clod?

Oh, and a Fujimi 1/24 scale driver set would further compact the problem

 LOL! I have a 1:24 Fujimi LWB Pajero full option that would go nice (NIB), or a Monogram CJ7 Jeep (NIB). Both nicely detailed kits. The mind boggles.

They have also released a SCT (Short Course Truck) and a rally car in 1:24 too. The SCT looks great, but not real fussed on the squashed dimensions rally car (too short and also too wide for a 1:24 static model body).
