mongoose1983 3335 Posted December 2, 2016 Year/model: 1988, Avante Motor: Stock Technigold Come across this one how long, two or three years ago? And since then I haven't found my way to the missing bits to make it run (both rear dogbones, and one of the drive cups). By now I'm pretty much losing hopes. What else-the Polycarbonate body of this one have seen better days. If this wasn't Tamiya's top-of-the-line buggy back in the day I don't think I would have got it. Think I'd rather have a Bullhead. Can't always have what you want, can you You all have a good weekend!
MAD RACER 566 Posted December 3, 2016 What parts are you chasing . Don't give up. Rear dog bones. Shocks all round Diff cups Might be able to help you with the above. I have re re Avante parts left over as I updated my shocks all round to Hi caps and diffs to ball diffs.
mongoose1983 3335 Posted December 4, 2016 Hi Mark, How have you been? Thanks for writing. I doubt I can afford the luxury of Avante shocks for a car like this one. Actually the other parts missing are much more neccesary. You can see the specifics on this here thread: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?/topic/80491-1988-avante-bits-fsft-wtd/ Have a good Sunday!
kontemax 1725 Posted December 4, 2016 This is my Avante 2001, under restoring works: I only miss some minor parts to complete the model. A new body is ready to be trimmed and painted. Max
94eg! 834 Posted December 4, 2016 Are those hi-caps re-done in champagne gold (or just weird lighting)? If so, that's amazing!

kontemax 1725 Posted December 8, 2016 The white wheels are very very rare. Did you hear it, Mr. Tamiya? Max
