At the top we have:

Motor: Vintage Tamiya Dynatech 01R

Servo; Futaba

ESC: Futaba MC112B

Body Paint: You'll have to ask Percymon :) <<<<< Do we have too ? :lol: . <<< BUT DON'T TELL HIM I SAID THAT ! . Bahaha :lol: .. :P Percymon will never know , I'm sure of it :lol: ...

Status: Rebuilt.

Shelfer or runner: Runner

List upgrades: Egress front shock tower, necessary replacement after I crashed and broke the original tower.

And at the bottom;

Year/model;1988

Motor: Vintage Yokomo super stock 2

Servo; Futaba

ESC: Etronix

Body Paint: errrr blue?

Status: Rebuilt, but not restored - all original '88 apart from re-re orange wheels.

Shelfer or runner: What do you think? :D

List upgrades: 2.4ghz system, aftermarket motor/esc. Front end slightly modified by previous owner. 20141129_092833_zpsf1c593a4.jpg

@matman cheers, i bought the body from ebay but knew I'd seen it somewhere before, did a bit of digging and found it in percymon's showroom lol

Year/model: 1988, Avante

Motor: Stock Technigold

Come across this one how long, two or three years ago? And since then I haven't found my way to the missing bits to make it run (both rear dogbones, and one of the drive cups). By now I'm pretty much losing hopes. What else-the Polycarbonate body of this one have seen better days. If this wasn't Tamiya's top-of-the-line buggy back in the day I don't think I would have got it. Think I'd rather have a Bullhead. Can't always have what you want, can you :D

What parts are you chasing . Don't give up.

Rear dog bones.

Shocks all round

Diff cups

Might be able to help you with the above. I have re re Avante parts left over as I updated my shocks all round to Hi caps and diffs to ball diffs.

This is my Avante 2001, under restoring works:

I only miss some minor parts to complete the model.

A new body is ready to be trimmed and painted.

At least you've got the white original wheels. Looking for those now for a couple of years already but still not giving up :rolleyes:
