Hey all, desperately chasing some rear tyres for my 95% complete The Falcon restoration.

Any hints other than the obvious Ebay, etc?

The rear Falcon tyres are the same as the Re-re Thunder Shot ones... Easily available .. (on ebay) :-)

I see this answer thrown out all the time, yet whenever I look there are never any tires available. I think people over estimate the actual availability of these tires.

A quick search of Ebay UK reveals no tires available asidef rom the ones attached to the full models for sale.

I found this too when I was tyre hunting, they pop up occasionally either at silly prices, or the reasonable ones get snapped up on BIN auctions.

Maybe buying another one with good wheels is the only way forward, at least then you can fit them to your pride and joy and run the other one with more up to date rubber.

The same 10 pairs of tyres I found yesterday are still there....

A simple search on ebay.co.uk for "Tamiya 50344" reveals them :-) (50344 is the part number)
