Somerset Beach Bash #2 (April 24th)

Hey there guys n gals.

After the success of the first Bash, The Birthday Bash at Brean Sands, I would like to poke you all and urge you to get your cars out again next weekend, thats the first Bank Holiday Weekend, 23,24th, either or, but I would suggest Sunday is generally best for the masses, so lets say Sunday 24th?

I have been gagging to get out on the beach again, its been a good few weeks since I had to clean them all, so I need to go fill them with sand again!

I'll put forward Brean Sands again, with a bit more emphasis on getting a large funky track cut out. I can be there for 9am.

Lets muster up some numbers again, I gotta challenge Mrs "I'm gonna whoop your *** in my Yellow Bug" for the cup, now I have Herbie ready for battle!

It'd be great to hear from you all, fingers crossed its lots of "badword Yeah, Lets do it!"

Wont be able to make it this time as got 2 weeks away for some diving, chilling, drinking and ripping up some unsuspecting beaches in deepest darkest cornwall. Hope you have a great bash and I hope to make the next one after. Cheers Rich :-)

Great to hear there's another Beach bash, but are your aware that that be Easter Sunday so the beach could be packed.

I try my best to come. Cars I may bring :- Pumpkin, Original Sandscorcher, Blitzer Beetle and 2010 Holiday Buggy.

Don’t want to put a damper on things but it will be high tide 12:04 on the 24th and those of us that were there early know that it came up to the road that led onto the beach. Info got from http://www.n-somerset.gov.uk/NR/rdonlyres/...deTimes2011.pdf (add 4 mins).

The following Sunday 1st of May low tide is at 12.22. Any thoughts?

It seems the 1st for Brean. IO can do Hamhill this weekend, saturday, sunday, whatever, its only 10 minutes away. Its likely to be quite busy, but there is always somewhere to go.

Hey I'm up for Ham Hill this weekend sat or sun fix a day and I'll pop along for a bit, yeah will be packed but there are a few tracks and trails to hit that might be less peopled up.

Just got a new graphite chassis so would be good to see how it performs, work will be needed on the diff and clutch though 'slipping like a wet soap'

There is also a kiddy size bmx track in the village below if its to buzzy, although not as good as the hill, especially for 1/10 scale.

Sounds great. 9am at the pub carpark? I'll be in the big red iveco. I'll bring my Losi Strike, a Monster Beetle, and a TL01 for a bit o' bashing!

Means I wont be able to get to Weston on Sunday, so its definitely next weekend for that, done some upgrading to my scorchers so will enjoy getting them out. And my strike is a banshee on the same, 5.5 brushless, 5000MAh Lipo, and a set of mean paddles, it rips the beach up! Reminds me, better get the other tyres on it.
