Wandy 1527 Posted June 8, 2011 I'd rather see the original 3-speed Hilux or Blazer. The nightmare is they look at what they did for the re-release Holiday Buggy and put an old shell on the new plastic 3-speed chassis with some metal axles to make it at least look like the original. Unfortunately there has got to be a reasonable chance that will happen. However the OP seemed to put an emphasis on how high the price would be for this thing. Having said that the plastic 3 speeds aren't exactly cheap.

mb_c11 0 Posted June 11, 2011 58500 will be skipped because the number causes Tamiya's inventory system to crash - it'll be called the KIT58K5-bug.
Aussie Nerd 0 Posted June 15, 2011 I really hope tamiya rereleases the bruiser. I think just about every scale rock crawling fan would die for one of those. Kieren

Henk4Focus 0 Posted June 15, 2011 I really hope tamiya rereleases the bruiser. I think just about every scale rock crawling fan would die for one of those. Kieren or not. I would rather see a brand new scale truck with up to date specs and body shell. Before a Bruiser I would much rather have a Blazing Blazer to stand next to my Hilux if they decided to rere something like that again.

Corpse Thrower 16 Posted June 17, 2011 Do we really care NOW ??? As the way things have gone . No we do not.....unless Tamiyaclub is able to go about its business as it always has. In which case I'll be buying my usual three kits per re-release. If not they can plant a form of affection on my corpulent left buttock.

SteelRat 46 Posted June 17, 2011 Do we really care NOW ??? As the way things have gone . I'd got to the point of no longer caring a long time before Tamiya's action. And Tamiya's action hasn't changed my opinion of them in the slightest. People forget that Tamiya isn't our big brother best mate, it's a money making corporation. In some countries, particularly the US there is a LEGAL REQUIREMENT for companies to actively protect their intellectual property and copyrights by taking precisely this sort of action, so please just let it go and move on. Wandy 1527 Posted June 17, 2011 I'm actually starting to get the feeling that it will be the Egress after all. Whatever it is there probably won't be an official announcement until late in the summer which means it won't hit the shops until the end of the year. That means that will have been a gap of nearly a year between Avante & Egress and that's pretty much the kind of timescale the other two per chassis were issued to. These two cars aren't really that similar, but then again neither were the Hotshot & Boomerang.

Yonez 180 Posted June 19, 2011 3 Top Force Evo's just appeared on eBay. In addition to the two that have been unsold for a while. Somebody knows something? I'd love to see the Evo re-released :-D But it doesn't count as huge in my mind. Not Bruiser huge.
