Comparison pics of Radshape & Junfac alloy chassis.

My opinion on Junfac chassis they are well built. Pretty strong i believe. Have to test it sometime.. I also bought some gearbox protector from them.

Radshape ones are well made too. I guess it depends on how you hard you want to run the srb's....

Radshape one is lighter if you want to save weight.

Well a couple of days ago my Ebay case closed and just before Jun contacted me and said he would refund me, and later on he did. I ordered one in the meantime from Fusion Hobbies and it turned up and finally I have my chassis and I'm more or less happy with it. It's darker than I was expecting (like Gunmetal) but at least it is a full 3mm thick and doesn't flex at all. The side pods of the chassis are at a 25 or 30 degrees angle which was good as it helps with the rigidity. It's a heavy chassis (as can be expected from being 3mm thick) and is Aluminium alloy, and the weight very low down helps keep the centre of gravity low.

The only thing that I didn't like about Jun's Ebay was the very slow speed he repied to my e-mails, even when here was an Ebay case open, he took a week, sometimes more to reply, which is considered to be rude in UK compared to the hobby companies that are based here. Just my personal opinion.

Oh well it ended well so I'm happy.

Cheers,

Alistair G.

I have 4 of those Junfac/twinset chassis already... Very well built. Exactly the same as the original twinset ones..

I'll probably put those chassis in all my srb's around.. I'll try one for strength... <_<
