This is the one that got stolen so I cant replicate this video, unless I trash the one I have in the box and spend lots of cash on it.

Apologies if you think this is a pointless post, but just I thought it was a cool vid, bit short perhaps?.

My point, I suppose is that usually on youtube if someone dislikes something, they often take the time to comment.

Most often it's offensive,

It won't be winning any Oscar awards, but it's kinda cool to see what kind of power you can shoehorn into a QD. I wouldn't vote it off the island. My two cents worth.

A big part of my research before deciding what Tamiya model I want next is to watch all kinds of youtube vids to see the car move. I'm looking to see if it handles well, if I like it or hate it, if it tips over all the time, wheely machine or plodder, how's it go in stock form, how about with cool mods, paint schemes, etc. Anything that shows me real life footage of a car is generally of some interest. Promo vids are amusing, but not really informative - at least I don't rely on them. Good amusement value though.

Of course, I've seen some truly stupid or irritating vids, and the soundtracks on some just make me wonder WTH somebody was thinking, but that's just personal taste. About the only thing that is truly offensive is (a) intentional destruction of something I would love to own - that's just me, but I think it is idiotic; or (b ) such poorly filmed clips that it makes my eyes hurt to see it. Honestly, this ain't Hollywood, but when it's so bad you just can't watch it, why post it? Is that a Clod Buster, or a vintage Holiday Buggy, or just a retarded squirrel? I can't tell, but I think it might be on a beach, or maybe a parking lot, or inside a shopping mall, not sure. Keep that rubbish to yourself, and don't inflict it on an unsuspecting public unless you WANT a thumbs down.

I think it's a cool vid Not the best quality, but the essence is clearly visible, and for a phone? camera, the footage is pretty stable.

I bet it's just someone who really hates QD cars to the bone, no matter how they've been modded. But he doesn't know that putting too much power in cars like these equals a great deal of fun!

Yeah, I wouldn't take any notice to be honest. To see the lowest common denominator of human society all you need to do is read comments sections on anonymous public places on the internet like YouTube or "Add your comments" sections of news paper websites. Some of the rubbish people spew on there really is staggering.

You're correct about the amount of rubbish out there though, and the number of snarky people with no lives, nothing better to do, but lots of nastiness pent up and just looking for a place to spew. I love the word "trolls", it just cracks me up.

TC is really the only forum that I have any use for - this based on civility and friendly advice / comments. I've seen way too much petty sniping and ugliness on some other sites, and it just reminds me how lucky we are to have this forum!

I always wonder what the point of leaving nasty comments - and especially these flaming, hateful cyber arguments - for people you've never met, and wouldn't know if they sat next to you on a bus. Why? Ok, you win - but what did you win, exactly? Did that show them? Feel all better now? Too funny.

I was more than a bit drunk when I posted this thread,

But you are all right, the vid was more about the sheer power of that little car,

Everyone writes off the Qd models as being un-upgradeable (I think I made up a word?) but that's unfair, go brushless, you know it makes sence.
