I was wondering what most of you are planning to do in the future?Any special dreams or goals?New projects?Bigger collections?Adding to your nib's?Next 1-2 year plans?

Basically, I'll be happy to finish off my Sand Scorcher. I'd like a Holiday Buggy in a couple of years. That was my first Tamiya R/C car. I may thin the herd out. I'll probably be putting my Black foot up for sale or giving it to my youngest son once turns 4 or 5. My Grasshopper will be given back to my brother. He's a bit older and won't thrash it.

I'm just got through newbie 'buy everything tamiya you come across' phase and now I am looking to finish a few projects and then get rid of a lot of stuff, that I've decided I don't really 'care' about and just concentrate on getting good examples of the things I really really want.

Next 12-24 mths will hopefully see me getting a

Blazing Blazer,

Mountaineer,

FAV,

Willies Wheeler

At this point I'll be happy[:)]

After that any of the following would be nice...

an audi Quattro,

another Wild Willy or two[;)]

and a three speed runner.

And in the same time reduce my collection by the same amount (probably more)

Hmmmm After a year of also getting back into the resoring/vintage stuff, my aims for 2003 r/c wise:

1. Restore Mountaineer

2. Make at least 1 100% SS out of the 4 I have now in parts

3. Get a Blazer

4. Get another Bruiser - to trick out every possible way

5. Get rid of some of my spares

6. Get more models

7. "Build my NIB Mounty LOL ((JOKE))id="beige">

You are not starting this kind of things too, are you?!?! [:o]

What I am hoping for is a Sand Scorcher, a Bruiser, and a 959. Mainly the Bruiser is attractive to me, the Sand Scorcher thing is getting a little less now... The 959 has to be a new built, preferably. I found a Bruiser from a local guy, but I don't think he is going to sell it. Maybe a little more patience and I will get it from him... [}:)] GIMME GIMME GIMME! yes, don't be shy and give it to me... LOLid="beige">

I am also going to search more actively on a local basis - I might get some good buys out of it! [:D] Well, those are my wishes for 2003... (make that 2005... D'oh! [xx(] )

Get my Monster Beetle sorted and running.

Build my NIB Blitzer Beetle.

Probably sell my Beams Integra. (If anyones interestred drop me a line!)

Enjoy chewing up the land with my Wild Dagger.

Hopefuly get my hands on a Chevy S-10 or Ford F150 and a FAV!

Get hold of a Thundershot (my first Tamiya from when I was 12), as whatever you guys think....with a Technigold motor, a low tooth pinion, double front shock conversion and a rear wing, it was a fine, fine buggy! [xx(]

I need to restore the Brat I got last month. Really hope I don't screw it up.

I also need to do something to upgrade my Juggernaut 1 into something I can actaully drive (before I completely destroy the original gears).

The Frog needs to be disassembled again, I'll probably steal some of the new Frog parts for the Brat as the Brat has a better chance of coming out nice than the Frog ever will.

I might actually start working on the Rough rider. I have enough parts to make it mechanically sound I think.

I'll probably also swap hop-ups between my Hummer and S-10, as the Hummer is just too nice to be running as fast as it does.

For me:

I'll have to start collecting spares for my two of my mint 4x4 Hiluxs that I have.

I'll also start looking for a Blazer, Bruiser and Mountaineer.[:D]

Selling one one or two to make room for the new arrivals.[:0]

Finally I'm gonna build a Terra Crusher or a TXT-1 just to remind me that R/C is also fun and not just expensive.[8D]

stick on the driver and exhaust on my scorcher to finish it, i never seem to get around to it!

Have a good clearout of my spares by building my rough rider and ranger and then getting rid of the left over bits.

Race my top force over the summer as i havbe only used it a couple of times because of the rain.

I need to look up the words "save money" as i don't yet know what that means.

Buy a new 1:1 car.

Who knows what the next year will bring.

1.Built one of my Wild ones during Christmas holidays.

2.Find an exhaust for my SS (the only part missing)

3.Keep working one completing the first 100 from Tamiya.

4.Find another hobby to spend (waste) money on [:D]

My big project is hopping up my Manta Ray with all I can get for it. That should take the next year.

I've also set my eyes on a few cars like the Toyota TS020 GT One at half price, or a Toyota Celica or New Beetle at same price. And There's a Raybrig NSX mk10 also that's getting my attention. It'äs only gonna be one of these two. I'm not some insane collector ;)

1. Finish off my SS, I have will have all the parts by mid Jan 03, they are on order now.

2. Finish my Rough Rider, this is a very cool one. It has a CRP aftermarket roll cage/nerf bar, all steel. Very rare. I now have all the parts to complete it. NIB body will be put on. Way cool.

3. Finish off my Brat. IT has been completly un assembled, I will put it all back together, need to get some case ball bearings.

4. Build my NIB Terell

5. Continue to look for parts for my Blazing blazer

6. Sell off my other blazing blazer

7. Redo my Alfa Romeo 155 on TA03

8. Put new body on my other TA03, a Ferarri

9. Finish off my F1 Lotus 107b

That's about it...
