Storage boxes

I've not the luxury of a dedicated room (yet...) for my cars, and as the number seems to be rising, does anyone know of a good place to buy good sized clear storage boxes? Ideally, I'd like some large ones that would take several models and I saw some of the underbed boxes in IKEA and similar places, but was unsure if they were tall enough. Something large that would take 6 cars in a 3 x 2 format would be ideal.

The ones I have at present are mostly a bit on the large size for 1 car, but not big enough for 2!

Try Staples - they sell Really Useful boxes, with separate clip-on lids which stack well.

Larger DIY stores usually sell stacking boxes too.

Hi mate,

I managed to find (at an Aussie $2 shop called GO-LO) some plastic storage drawers that with clear drawers, and a black plastic frame.. The big bonus with these is that you can buy several sets, and build them into a 6,7,8 etc drawer sets, just like Lego.. The drawers will easily fit a Touring car or buggy, but may struggle with some trucks such as the Wild Dagger etc..

Another solution is the Postage Boxes sold at your local post office.. Very cheap, easy to stack, and come in a range of sizes..

Bought them from Poundstretcher for a few quid each. Good idea for car storage.
