pre-runner body sourcing

Hi all, my brothers got his first tamiya at 44, its the pre-runner, he's already stripped and re-built it with new bearings, shocks and motor mount, but the body's in a poor state, is there anyone that makes a repro body or anyone that can point towards somewhere i can get one, any of the bodies would be good, chevy, ford f150 or pre-runner.

are there any other bodies that fit and look good on this chassis.

any help would be great.

have a look at shells for HPI MiniTrophy too

although they're "1/12" actual shell is very similar to KingCab size afaik

WillyChang is right that the width is about the same, the length is a little longer and the biggest deal will be that the body comes in 3 parts, so it will need some modifying to fit. But it is a really cool looking body when done

But you should be able to get the original Tamiya bodyset for the Chevy or Ford version of your kit on Ebay.

Team Blue Groove make a repro pre runner/HMR shell, but they are listed as 'away' on ebay, so all their stock has been withdrawn temporarily. Think they are either $24.99 or 29.99.

I received a message from ***** last night, as I wanted to order a couple of shells myself, and they will be trading again in a week or so.

They are preparing new releases for production at the moment.
