Some time last year I bought a Tamiya Mighty Bull from at local auction, It came with motor, esc, servo ect but most needed replacing as they were faulty.

This is ow it looked when I got it,

I have it a clean and fitted another esc, servo and a clash 18 motor

Here's a short vid of it running

And thats how it stayed up untill about a month ago when I ordered a 10.5t ezrun brushless combo

Here's a short vid of me testing it for the first time with the ezrun fitted

Thats how it stands upto now, but I have some more things to do to it, I have got a bearing set on order and I've got a LOSB0812 Extra High-Torque Digital Servo on order for the steering.

I do have a couple of question too that someone might be able to help me with,

Firstly, what other upgrades/hopups could I do to it?

Secondly, I've been looking for some diffenent wheels but not been able to find any, does anyone have any surgestions?

Bearings always worthwhile - extend run time and speed.

Steel pinion gear if not already installed

Overhaul the dampers with new seals and oil if needed.

Looks pretty good with the ezrun in it

Its got the standard dampers still fitting which I will be upgrading to some alloys shocks

Pinion gear is a standard one so I think that'll be another upgrade on the list

I run my 2wd Twin Det chassis with a 12t brushless and except for CVA's and bearings everything stands up nicely to abuse. You should maybe search for Traxxas wheels with adaptors or see if you can't find HPI wheels that will fit. I left the hex adaptors in my front wheels so it still spins on the bearings in the uprights. Works fine for me that way. I know I can use BFE wheels but that's just more of the same.

Alloy shocks/dampers ordered.

Here a couple of pics of the chassis with the ezrun system fitted

i have used this method to convert 2wd front axles to take 4wd rims 4 times now with great succes ! they are traxxas 2wd slash front axles , if you get the kit , you get the bearings aswell . the one in the pic is fitted to a hornet axle carrier , you just trim it down to fit in the space then you can run any hex drive rim .

the wild dagger is the 4wd predesussor of the mighty bull , i reacon you could fit the front motor/diff assembly straight in ! . this is my WD fitted out with gpm alloy suspenion bits and yeah racing 75mm alloy shocks . you can also buy cv joints for them too .

I decided I wanted to change the wheels as I want too keen on the standard ones, so after looking on ebay I found these traxxas 2.2 wheels with 12mm hex.

I've got to get some new tyres now as I destroyed the ones on the standard rims while tring to remove them.

Couple of pics with the traxxas rims fitted.
