Boomerang Prop

Hi chaps,

Looking out for a hop up prop for the 'rang, and there very thin on the ground, but was wondering if the prop from the dark impact would fit?

Wouldnt mind the hop up drive shafts with the CV joints, however these look rather tastyalthough a little pricy

Any advice would be greatful.

I can't comment on the Dark Impact shaft, but I'm pretty sure the dogbone type prop shaft/cups from the Re-Re Hotshot fits.

I haven't tried it, so don't quote me on that!

Yep straight fit. You need to get the matching Dog Bone cups though . You have to get the complete outdrive set to get them but are cheap and well worth it.

Another good Hop Up is CVD's or universals . Yeah racing DF02 shafts fit as well as Thunder Shot/Top Force uni shafts...

So if i get the hot shot cups thats half the battle, but could i still use the DF-02 prop shaft? or would i definatley need the hot shot shaft?

Theres a sprue on ebay for the rising storm, shaft parts set. Includes prop, inner and outer drive shaft cups and both gearbox cups. Would I be better getting this? although the prop looks like its plastic.

In reference to MADRACER's post you need re-release Hotshot prop shaft and cups to go between the front and rear gearboxes. The cups come in a bag with all of the out-drives. On the Hotshot these are all metal.

The DF-02 parts that MADRACER was referring to are the hop-up universal shafts to upgrade the axle parts between the gearboxes and the wheels (you still use the Boomerang out-drives).

I don't know if other DF-02 parts will fit other than the axles.
